CAJM is a grassroots coalition of 40 diverse organizations and religious congregations in Charleston County, South Carolina. I recruit and train civic leaders to organize strong networks of people who mobilize regularly to advance our active campaigns: affordable housing, accessible healthcare, expanding public transit, confronting racist policing practices, and reducing school suspensions. Additionally, I run CAJM's healthcare campaign to increase access to primary healthcare among underserved communities across the Lowcountry.

Justice Matters is a grassroots coalition of 18 religious congregations and organizations in Douglas County, Kansas. At Justice Matters, I trained civic leaders to mobilize networks of people to regularly turn out to advance our campaigns: successfully stopping a $34 million local jail expansion, implementing Restorative Practices in public schools, and eliminating homelessness across the county. I worked on all three campaigns, and led the homelessness campaign. While at Justice Matters, I also co-founded the DART LGBTQ+ Caucus for LGBTQ+-identifying organizers in the DART network of organizations to provide support and community for queer organizers.
