Litigation Paralegal
Current- Prepare pleadings and other legal documents including but not limited to petitions, appearances, motions, affidavits, and discovery request
- Draft notices of mailing, notices of motions, notices of filing, certificates and verifications, formal letters to opposing counsel
- Conduct factual and legal research on complex files and complete revisions to the various pleadings per requests from attorneys and clients
- Research, analyze, and evaluate files, request and review materials and documents from clients. Prepare timelines/chronologies, Prepare exhibit packages
- Docket hearing dates, pleading deadlines, expected follow-ups to clients, event re-projections in client sites, conference calls, courtesy copy due dates, and appointments
- Meet with the attorney on a daily basis to discuss case strategies, upcoming hearings, and drafting needs
