For over 30 years worked both in the non-profit and public sector providing support and direction to individuals and institutions using a myriad of skills. Today, focused on giving back to the community through board participation, committee work, volunteering, and giving. Currently serving as of 2023 Board President of Cambridge Neighbors www.cambridgeneighbors.org. This organization strives to support individuals "aging in place" in their community through providing practical services, stimulating activities, and experiences, and a strong social network. Additionally, there are other non-profit organizations/government organizations that I have both worked with either on the board or as paid staff. Currently, I participating as committee member and supporter of Women's Fund of SouthCoast, New Bedford, MA, On The Rise, Cambridge, MA, and Children's Advocacy Center of Bristol County, Fall River, MA. Past international experience includes Peace Corps Volunteer/Staff, on the Board of NPCA, and Boston Area Returned Peace Corps Volunteer. My goal has always been to contribute to my community here and overseas; both in action and giving.
