ASDA Global Shared Services was established two years ago. My role was within the Time and Attendance Team. On a daily basis each member of my team was dealing with between 70 to 100 tickets to make sure that our colleagues are paid correctly. Each colleague had a unique contract, adjusted to their own situation. We had lots of the colleagues working on weekly, fortnightly, 3 week or monthly rotating shift patterns.

The purpose of my role is to manage a team responsible for booking qualified nurses, specialist nurses and HCA’s throughout the Trust onto shifts. I also coordinate with external recruitment agencies and work closely with Senior Trust staff to manage the process of allocating the shifts.
