Associated with the TdH-NL India programme since June 2018. My role involves leading the programmes in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, focusing on empowering victims of child marriage and reducing child labour in waste picking supply chains and semi-rural labour.Some of my responsibilities include leading and supporting workshops, conferences, and seminars organized by TdH-NL and its partner organizations in India. I also assist the Country Manager in mobilising resources and fundraising. Additionally, I organize and facilitate cross-learning and knowledge sharing sessions among the project team.I act as a liaison between Terre des Hommes, Netherlands Head office and Partner Programmes to ensure integrated programme planning and monitoring. I am responsible for the effective implementation of programmes in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, managing project teams, and ensuring the timely delivery of outcomes.Furthermore, I manage and collaborate with external consultants hired for research, evaluations, and content creation. I provide support to partner organizations for the qualitative delivery of project activities at the district and state levels. I ensure the timely submission of reports from partner organisations and submit analysis reports to donors after review and revision.I ensure effective delivery of project outcomes in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu through monitoring and team capacity enhancement. I measure activities and outcomes against agreed indicators. I also provide close support to partners in coordinating and delivering trainings and other activities outlined in the project proposal. Overall, my role is to lead and support various aspects of the TdH-NL India programme, ensuring its successful implementation and contribution towards empowering victims of child marriage and reducing child labour.

Tamil Nadu

I have worked in Swasti, a registered non-profit organization, as a Regional Impact Officer from January '18 to May '18. Swasti focuses on improving public health outcomes for marginalized and impoverished individuals. In my role, I was responsible for overseeing the implementation and facilitation of three projects, which included Invest for Wellness in Bangalore, MSMR in Ambur, and Gen Y in Salem. Additionally, I provided support to seven community-based organizations across five districts, benefiting 8,500 vulnerable women and 2,500 individuals from the trans and genderfluid community.My responsibilities encompassed various tasks, such as coordinating project implementation and providing assistance to field staff working at the grassroots level. I also cultivated relationships with stakeholders and established connections to facilitate resource mobilization and other types of support for the organization. Moreover, I played a vital role in implementing different strategies at the community level to enhance resource mobilization efforts.One significant aspect of my work included facilitating life skill initiatives specifically targeted towards gender non-conforming youth in Tamil Nadu. Furthermore, I oversaw the monitoring and evaluation of project implementation processes and analyzed the monthly information system to provide guidance for future planning and achievement of project objectives.

I have been employed at Vrutti since April 2016, where I hold the position of Regional Impact Officer. Vrutti is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting sustainable livelihoods and improving the well-being of individuals through knowledge, innovation, and transformative actions. Currently, I am involved in the AVAHAN III project, providing support to five Community Based Organizations. These organizations work with a total of 7,000 vulnerable and disadvantaged women, as well as 1,500 individuals from the transgender and gender fluid community. Our operations are centered in Tiruvallur, Vellore, Krishnagiri, and Dharmapuri of Tamil Nadu, and we are supported by the Gates and Melinda Foundation.My responsibilities in this role include assisting these organizations in forming self-help groups for financial inclusion and livelihood opportunities. I also facilitate skill development training and connect members with other agencies for livelihood support. Ensuring social protection, financial security, safety, security, justice, and institutional development services are among my priorities. Additionally, I actively explore different livelihood options to encourage the socio-economic development of interested community members. Lastly, I provide digital financial literacy to our members to promote financial inclusion and encourage the use of technology for financial services.

I worked at Vrutti, a registered not-for-profit Society, as a Financial Security Mentor from December 2014 to March 2017. Vrutti is a center that focuses on sustainable livelihood and aims to improve people's well-being through knowledge, innovation, and transformative actions. During my time there, I was involved in the AVAHAN III project, which is supported by the Gates and Melinda Foundation. My responsibilities included:Providing Financial Literacy education to FSWs, TGs, and MSM in 9 Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) in Tamil Nadu.Assisting with financial planning and wealth management for FSWs, TGs, and MSM in the 9 CBOs.Strengthening the financial sustainability of the CBOs by connecting them with relevant stakeholders and government officials.Developing training manuals and enhancing the capacity of Community-Based Groups (CBGs) such as Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and Joint Liability Groups (JLGs).Ensuring the implementation of Base Financial Security Packaging across the 9 CBOs.Establishing models to facilitate financial security mechanisms, including the Linkage model, Business Correspondence model, and Multi State Cooperative model.Establishing partnerships with other stakeholders to incorporate financial security components.Monitoring the program's progress and providing support to achieve key result areas in line with key performance indicators.

I worked as an Operational Manager at NELINDCO Foundation, a section 25 company focused on promoting the socio-economic development and livelihood of pro-poor individuals through microfinance, from 2008 to December 2014, establised by TdH-NL.Monitoring the implementation of the socio-economic and livelihood development programs across 14 NGOs in four states of India.Evaluating the impact of these programs at the end of each project and reporting the results to the funding agency.Developing innovative financial products tailored to the needs of our target beneficiaries.Creating tools and techniques to assess the impact of our programs and to evaluate the income of our beneficiaries.Recommending financial assistance to disadvantaged communities in remote and rural areas based on their specific needs.Ensuring the productivity and efficiency of the foundation by closely monitoring the portfolio and ensuring the funds are utilized effectively and in alignment with the objectives.Enhancing the capacity of field-level staff and target communities through organizing customized training programs in microfinance and self-help groups.Providing analytical and result-based reports to top management to support policy-level decision making, such as strategic planning, improving outreach, and revising lending policies.Ensuring transparency and accountability in all operations.Providing technical support to local NGOs and beneficiaries, including assistance with business plan preparation, fund flow analysis, and identifying marketing opportunities.Offering social security to members through life and livelihood asset insurance.Conducting impact assessments of the foundation's programs at the organizational level, as well as income assessments of individual beneficiaries.Facilitating connections between small-scale units and entrepreneurs (both producers and retail sellers) spread across different locations in South India.

I have previously worked in the Tamil Nadu Empowerment and Poverty Reduction Programme, also known as the Pudhu Vazhvu Project, as an Assistant Project Manager specializing in Monitoring and Evaluation. I have been associated with DHAN Foundation as a Financial Manager for four years, during which I have been responsible for several key tasks. These include overseeing financial control and monitoring all financial activities within the organization. I have also been responsible for closely monitoring the fund flow at the community-based organizations (CBOs) and organizational level.In addition, I have collaborated with various stakeholders to generate external resource mobilization, which has been crucial in supporting our financial sustainability. I have also played a crucial role in budget design and ensuring budgetary control, which has enabled effective financial planning and management.Another important aspect of my role has been accounting and audit management. This involves overseeing both internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and providing accurate financial reports.
