Protection Program Officer
Current- Design a project proposal submitted for donor agencies.- Conduct periodic performance review of employees & monitor and evaluate project activities.- Establish structures for providing regular monitoring, support and supervision to MHPSS workers and child protection officers.- Mapping and analysis of existing protection services and gaps in the program target areas, including on the effect of the conflict on protection systems in the project target areas.- Adapt context relevant case management tools and standard operating procedures (SOP) with active involvement of local multi-sector stakeholders, to guide protection service coordination and referrals.- Conduct regular monthly meeting with para social workers to monitor continuity and progress of activities, including home based follow-up and support of beneficiaries.- Establish/ strengthen child protection information management system that enables to closely monitor protection issues and services for vulnerable girls and boys in the project target areas.- Strengthen age and culturally appropriate violence reporting mechanisms in selected schools through providing suggestion boxes, feedback/suggestion books etc.- Serve as a resource person for proposal development.- Supervise protection officers and coordinators.- Prepare periodic reports submitted to donor agencies.- Work collaboratively with other staff members to meet organizational objectives.
