I currently serve as the Executive Director of EmpowerEd Foundation, a non-profit organisation for marginalised communities in India.I hold a Postgraduate degree in Computer Applications as well as corporate sector experience in addition to an MA in NGO Management. Engaged in the social sector since 2004, I assumed a leadership role in an NGO focusing on vocational-skill training for youth.Since 1999, i have been a Trustee of EmpowerEd Foundation (formerly Value Education Trust). I also managed an international academy franchise specialising in abacus training for children, a role I held from 2014 to 2020.I assumed the role of Director of EmpowerEd Foundation in 2018. During the Kerala floods that year, I mobilised resources and led a team that provided relief to over 4,000 flood-affected individuals with home-cooked meals, clothing, and essential dry rations. My pssion to serve the community, particularly children residing in flood-prone regions of Kerala, inspired the Board of EmpowerEd Foundation to reconsider its vision. Consequently, a high-quality program that educates, empowers, and transforms children from socially and economically disadvantaged families in Kerala was born.
