EmpowerEd Foundation empowers marginalised children in India by bridging gaps in literacy, numeracy, cognitive skills, and value formation. Through quality, personalised education and emotional, social, and career readiness training, we nurture lifelong growth, responsible citizenship, and well-rounded individuals. Our Approach: Our programs transform classrooms into vibrant learning spaces. We empower local teachers through intensive training, ensuring long-term impact and sustainability. We also involve parents in their child's educational journey, fostering a supportive learning environment at home. Our Impact: The short-term outcomes include enhanced literacy, numeracy, and cognitive skills, leading to confident, enthusiastic learners. The long-term impact: Higher academic achievement, better career prospects, and a more educated, resilient, and socially responsible community. We create lasting change, building a foundation of educational excellence and community empowerment that drives sustainable development and a better quality of life. We are currently present in 10 schools in Thiruvananthapuram and Ernakulam Districts, 32 teachers have received training and 435 children are enrolled. The 2024 programme was inaugurated by the honourable MP, Dr. Shasi Tharoor. In 5 years, we will enrol 2100 children from 25 schools across 5 districts of Kerala and empower 60 women to teach the children. By 2040, we will empower 13,700 children, enrol another 9,300 in 85 schools across 11 districts, and equip 1,200 women as instructors.
