Planning - Actively participate in strategic and annual planning for the Department's Internal Audit Plan. Also responsible for planning the execution (resource allocation and timing) of general audits assigned to my audit team of 5-6 members.Managing - Manage the team of 5-6 auditors in terms of working relationships between members, output and effectiveness of members, project and program managing each audit and the whole year's audit program for my team. Managing client and key stakeholders expectation and working relationship with the team on/outside audit projects.Delegating - Provide training opportunities to auditors by delegating audit supervision work or special projects to them.Reviewing - Review and quality assurance of work output and outcomes of overall audit project before reviewing reports. Monitoring - Monitor the performance, quality and completion of audit projects and auditors.Reporting - Report to Director and Chief Auditor on the performance of audit program and sometimes contribute to the reporting to Audit and Risk Committee.Improving/Innovating - Overhaul of audit methodology for the unit as well as input to continuous improvement to the audit methodology and the operations of the unit.Mentoring - Provide support, coaching and mentoring to less experience auditors in terms of work quality, career progression and work life balance.
