Responsible for the STM8, STM32F0, and part of STM32F3 product families in microcontrollers division: built the documentation plans for new product releases and product updates, gathered the technical content from the subject matter experts (SME), edited the documents and organized review workflows, ensuring that the data sheet(s), reference manual(s), errata sheet(s) and application notes got published on the committed date. My goals were to reach the final approval of three documents in average per week, with a total of 140 documents per year. The compliance of the approved documents with the company technical literature procedure was assessed through quality control. Built and shared a checklist with peers, which systematically used prior to submitting a document to quality control and achieved less than 7% of rejection per year.As MMS group had not yet adopted the company’s XML solution based on DITA and Microsoft SharePoint, worked on the specifications for the move to XML editing, ran some tests with Oxygen XML editor, and wrote some guidelines before leaving the company to move to the United States.

At the closure of ST-Ericsson, joined the process and tool team that belong to EMEA sales organization and contributed to the definition of a new tool for customer notification of product change and product termination. Prepared and ran some interviews with future key users of the tool to understand how they communicated and followed up with their customers and what their main requirements were. Finalized the sales requirement specification that helped to define the tool and later on run the user acceptance tests. In addition, at the release of the customer satisfaction survey results, had the opportunity to take part of the analysis and learnt about satisfaction index and ways of working with scorecards.

Prepared a request for quotation and worked with the purchasing department and human resources on the adoption of an outsourcing solution that proved more flexible, more efficient and cost 45% less than the previous solution, while still releasing 50,000 pages of customer technical documentation in average per year.Implemented a single-sourcing method based on the use of conditional text in Adobe FrameMaker, so we could use the internal technical specifications to create a set of customer documents: data brief, data sheet, reference manual and design specification. Also worked with the IP developers and IP verification engineers on the implementation of the IPXACT workflow: we covered 80% of the IP registers of the STn8820 digital signal processor.
