As part of an agile development team I was able to work on any aspect of the product including interface, general coding, and localization/resources. My team was also tasked with the creation of a new product for the company called Merlin. For Merlin we used test-driven development, so I became familiar with unit tests and Moq. I was originally hired to update and manage the XML configuration files used in Quark XML Author, but quickly expanded to more. I assisted QA with backlog grooming and testing. I took over our manager's duties of merging, branching, and creating new build definitions in TFS, becoming proficient at using software such as Beyond Compare, DiffMerge, and Visual Studio's native merge application. I made improvements to SmartPaste (a feature of the product that dealt with conversion from Microsoft's OOXML to our configuration specific XML) and continued to be in charge of modifications from then on.
