I concentrate my practice in the areas of estate planning, estate and trust administration, and employment law. I create personalized estate plans by listening to clients' needs and goals, which process includes tax planning, business succession planning, and the preparation of wills, trusts, powers of attorney, health care proxies, living wills, HIPAA authorizations, homesteads, burial instructions, etc. I assist clients with the administration of estates and trusts by thoughtfully guiding the process after the loss of a loved one. I serve in the fiduciary roles of Personal Representative, Trustee and Conservator. I also have experience in discrimination, harassment, wrongful discharge, wage/hour, unemployment, and probate litigation. I counsel clients on a variety of employer/employee rights, including the review of separation agreements and severance packages, termination rights, internal complaints, etc.

I counseled clients on a variety of employer/employee rights, including the review of separation agreements and severance packages, and I have conducted internal harassment investigations. I practiced before the state and federal courts of Massachusetts, as well as in a variety of administrative agencies.I am admitted to the bars of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Massachusetts. I am a Notary Public, as well as a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Women's Bar Association of Massachusetts.

I advised municipalities and corporate clients relative to employment and labor issues and a wide range of general municipal issues throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. I resolved lawsuits by raising creative and novel legal arguments in dispositive motions. I disposed of claims by proposing alternative outcomes and negotiating resolutions. I established new by-laws and warrant articles by collaborating with municipal officials. I also investigated harassment claims by conducting interviews of complainants and witnesses.

I served as a law clerk to the Justices of the Superior Court, assisting in all phases of civil and criminal litigation, and worked extensively with Justices on trials, hearings, and motion sessions. I prepared draft decisions, legal memoranda, and proposed jury instructions.

I supported 9 attorneys in all phases of trial preparation, mediation, arbitration, and MCAD hearings, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, affidavits, notices, subpoenas, jury instructions, and client correspondence. I conducted legal research on complex international law issues and drafted memoranda of law on same for a Senior Partner. I interviewed clients and witnesses, and I attended regional defense counsel meetings and hearings for toxic tort litgation.
