I made sure to let my employees know that their voices would be heard and that even I was not above constructive criticism. I encouraged my employees to grow and am a proud user of positive reinforcement instead of reprimanded action. Understanding that we are all human, we make mistakes and sometimes things will happen that are not under your control led to happy people who were more than willing to do their very best without having to be told. This nicely transferred to my customer base as well with happy, returning customers.Treating people like people is always my first priority. It is what allows me to continue to grow and improve as an individual. Every day is a learning opportunity and I intend to be the best me I can be in every situation work or home life throws at me.
