As a member of the Firm's Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Group, I focus my practice on helping clients establish employee benefits programs, negotiate executive compensation agreements, and resolve various issues that arise in connection with those programs. My experience includes:- retirement plans in the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors (401(k), 403(b), 457(b)),- nonqualified deferred compensation arrangements (excess benefit, 457(f)), - health (e.g., ACA and HIPAA compliance, on-site health), life, disability and other welfare benefits,- stock options, restricted stock and similar equity programs,- employee stock ownership (ESOP) and employee stock purchase plans, and- employment, change in control, retention, annual incentive and other executive agreements. I also advise buyers and sellers on benefits issues in the sale or purchase of a business. I previously served as in-house benefits counsel for a publicly-traded company, which provides me with a business-oriented and practical approach to the practice of law.
