Vice Director, Buildings and Environment, where we aim at securing healthy and sustainable buildings, and sustainable development in the construction industry.I worked to ensure healthy and sustainable buildings through management and leadership of dedicated experts within energy retrofitting of buildings, building examinations especially within moist and mould, indoor environment investigations, swimming pool technology, circular economy and related aspects of the built environment. Combining practical experience and development projects ensured a high level of applicability in our work. I had the privilege of being the project manager of the Circle Bank Project.

I worked as the team manager of the team Indoor Environment & Building Examinations (12-18 people) in the department Buildings & Environment. The highly specialised and dedicated team was working with indoor environment, energy retrofitting technologies, radon, moist and mold. Tasks include e.g. building examinations, development projects, reviews and development of legislative projects, and business development projects. The customers and business partners were private building owners (ranging from private one family houses to large private and public building owners), insurance companies, authorities, private companies and universities.Concurrently I was the project manager of the societal partnership REBUS (REnovating BUildings Sustainably) - a project funded by the Danish Innovation Fund, Realdania, Grundejernes Investeringsfond and the nine partners. The project had a budget of 81 mill. DKK over four years. The project's overall targets were to innovate and increase the renovation rate of good renovations which decrease energy and resource consumption and increases the productivity of the building industry.

I worked in the sub-department working with indoor environment, moist, mould, energy retrofitting technologies and hazardous substances, where my task mainly were related to energy retrofitting of buildings, and building examinations related to moist and mould. I have previously worked in the sub-department specialised in swimming pool technology, which works with water treatment, water quality, chemicals and dosing techniques, ventilation and energy technology, regulation, management, domestic hot water systems, energy, materials and construction techniques.

Parallel with and as an extension to the job mentioned below I worked as the project manager and coordinator of the municipality’s work within climate and energy. The work was partly to renew the climate and energy strategy including actions plans. I was the project manager of on-going projects and was in charge of fundraising for new projects.

Project engineer at the pilot project "Energy for local development - making Horslunde a sustainable energy village". Working participatory with the village inhabitants to reduce energy consumption and introduce sustainable energy sources.

YE Water Program works with disadvantaged Indonesian communities to build public health & hygiene awareness through sustainable environmental engineering service projects.I am volunteering for six weeks to assist in developing and implementing sustainable latrine solutions for primarily scavenger communities.

Primarily I worked with the Clean Development Mechanism of the Kyoto Protocol. Furthermore I assisted at conferences, financial management in relation to development assistance funds etc. The job gave me further knowledge of the ministry’s work in general. I followed a financial course and database course improving my work in Navision Stat and the Ministry’s project database.

I did a nine months internship in the environmental department at the Royal Danish Embassy, where I primarily worked with the Clean Development Mechanism. Our task at the embassy was to kickstart the CDM market by negotiating and signing the first emission reduction purchase agreements. Besides CDM I had the opportunity to follow the Malaysian Government’s work on low energy buildings.
