Led the development of the Canada Green Building Strategy (Canada’s plan to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050 in the buildings sector). Major activities: Stakeholder consultations, net-zero pathways analysis and modeling, provincial / territorial engagement, executive briefings across the Government of Canada for political leaders and senior officials, development of Memoranda to Cabinet, communication and stakeholder management planning and execution. Media training / media relations.

(6 month term) Supported the development and launch of the Future Skills Centre’s evidence and evaluation practice. The Future Skills Centre is Canada’s first “industrial policy” intermediary organization dedicated to research and evaluation projects and scale-ups to prepare Canada’s workers for our future economy.

Developed and executed outcomes-based performance contracts and social impact bonds in the US. Projects focused on reducing infant mortality, poor child-welfare outcomes, water infrastructure, and related environmental, health and social wellbeing Indicators. Responsible for all aspects of project management, from data analysis and policy / program recommendations to roll-out plans including communications, media relations, and governance.

Support for Ministries interested in social finance and outcomes-based partnerships. Developed guidance for government public-private partnership procurement office on approach to outcomes-based procurement.

Researcher and advisor on multiple government audit and public policy reports. Focus on public sector productivity, the operational aspects of mergers and demergers of government departments, and core executive structures for implementation. Media training and lead contact for media interviews related to research.

Lead researcher and co-author on two machinery of government changes studies in association with the London School of Economics. Strategic communications and media liaison.

Developed a popular, revenue-generating, young professionals program for the TBOT. Represented young professionals on the Board of Directors.
