Working to determine the feasibility of starting Graduate Medical Education (GME) programs across the country, including the financial and clinical benefits of residency programs. Using knowledge of Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) requirements to help hospital leadership start new programs.

Completing my Masters of Health Services Administration degree with a residency at Germane Solutions. Traveling, consulting, and project work for the top graduate medical education consulting firm in the country.

As a student intern, I worked in the executive office at Mercy West hospital with the COO. I had the pleasure to attend several high level meetings, work on business proposals and help with the opening of a new medical office building. I then transitioned to the surgery department where I worked in numerous roles, from surgery scheduling, running the control desk, and assisting the director with operations of the department. I could not have asked for a better opportunity at the start of my career than having the privilege to work with an amazing team at Mercy West.

Volunteer tutor for children in the CBDI unit. Weekly one-on-one sessions with children admitted to the hospital and recovering from various procedures who need help staying caught up in the classroom.

Setting up lab activities, grading exit exams, and leading weekly tutoring sessions as well as one-on-one tutoring as needed.

Presided over weekly executive cabinet and chapter meetings. Responsible for maintaining the integrity of the chapter. Served on all committees including executive, membership development, finance, risk management, nominating and bylaws committee. Attended Grand Convention in June 2014.

Reorganized the budget to use funds more efficiently. Managed membership dues and fees. After discovering the large surplus our chapter typically had I allocated money to different areas so that the chapter benefitted more from their member dues. We were also able to start renovations on our facility by working with the Facility Corporation Board.

Organized daily activities for small groups of children with Sensory Processing Disorder. Lead a group to different activities throughout the day and assisted in occupational therapy techniques. Responsible for the well being of children at camp and on field trips around Cincinnati.
