-Coordinator of the Interreg VA EMR E-TEST Project: Einstein Telescope EMR Site & Technology.This project aims to enable the consortium of partners involved in the major Einstein telescope project to carry out initial studies on the subsoil of the exploration site proposed for the installation of the Einstein telescope, in the "Three Borders Region" of the Euregio Meuse-Rhine, and the creation and construction at the Centre Spatial de Liège (CSL) of a unique prototype - never built to date… Show more -Coordinator of the Interreg VA EMR E-TEST Project: Einstein Telescope EMR Site & Technology.This project aims to enable the consortium of partners involved in the major Einstein telescope project to carry out initial studies on the subsoil of the exploration site proposed for the installation of the Einstein telescope, in the "Three Borders Region" of the Euregio Meuse-Rhine, and the creation and construction at the Centre Spatial de Liège (CSL) of a unique prototype - never built to date in the world - of a large suspended silicon mirror at cryogenic temperature (25K). This prototype at very low cryogenic temperature close to the absolute zero is the key element of the new generation interferometer of the Einstein Telescope (ET).
