ULiège - RISE

At the University of Liège, RISE is in charge of managing university research and the transfer of knowledge from research units, notably through the administrative set-up and implementation of projects, the detection of research results that can be valorized, their protection and support for their maturation and commercialization. It contributes to the development of research by assisting the authorities in the definition, implementation and evaluation of strategic research and innovation policy and by supporting researchers in their research mission, notably with regard to its financing, training or mobility aspects. In order to encourage business-research collaborations, it also seeks to create a dynamic of exchanges between researchers and socio-economic actors to enable them to make contact with potential partners, to promote their needs as well as their skills and equipment, and to generate ideas for research projects.
