After being active for years in all the activities of a Knowledge Transfer Office (Development of collaborations between industry and University, University IP management : detection of innovative technologies/softwares, IP protection, tech transfer and spin-off creation), I'm now mostly focussed on the management of software Intellectual Property.My work consist in identifying valuable assets (copyright, databases, patentable inventions...) in software results, propose a legal protection strategy, and evaluate the impact of research contracts and open-source code re-use on the freedom to operate and the possible business models. I then support the project owner in the commercialization or entrepreneurial process.I am also particularly involved in raising awareness about open source licenses, through training courses for Researchers, Students, and companies.
