Primary project: comprehensive technical assistance to Alameda County Behavioral Health Care Services' Innovation Grant Program. Round One involved a diverse portfolio of grantees innovating new approaches to improving community mental health. Round Two focused on grantees working to improve mental health services to the African American community, with a focus on integrating cultural nuance, spirituality and trauma informed practices. Round Three encompassed two grantee groups: one focused on the unique needs of isolated adults and older adults with serious mental illness; the second on improving the quality of services for LGBTQI and Two Spirit clients and consumers.

Operated as Administrative Manager / Office Manager during transition of founding/retiring Executive Director and new ED; managed all incoming and outgoing financial invoices, ongoing financial documents, insurance policies, state-mandated annual audit, monthly invoices to multiple county-based contracting organizations; worked with ED to update employee handbook and organizational policies; created and maintained yearly budgets for the agency's 4 primary projects; managed employee timesheets and expense reports.

Responsible for all program activities including: organization and implementation of 2 Bay Area-wide calls for art (with 400+ submissions for each), including 7-10 focus groups each, mounting artwork, and organizing an awards ceremony for each call for art; coordination and implementation of 12+ mass media campaigns utilizing community-created artwork; creation and maintenance of a quarterly newsletter; development of a series of Media Literacy workshops for students grades 4-12 centered on developing critical thinking to discern the real messages in alcohol advertisements; organization and implementation of more than 500 Roving Art Show exhibits; organization of multiple events bringing visual art, music and community resources under one roof; art-making work-shops, presence at community events, outreach to general community; and ongoing work with ethnically and professionally diverse Community Advisory Board to develop future program activities. Worked as part-time administrative assistant to the Executive Director of two foundling web startups focused on aggregating congressional voter information. Duties included maintenance of ED’s task list, transcription of emails and letters, upkeep of office and supplies, internet research of grants and other funding sources and fielding of all incoming calls/emails.
