My name is Annie Baker and I am a Construction Project Engineer based in Salt Lake City, UT. I received my B.S. in Architecture from the University of Utah in 2023, and after graduation, I was fortunate enough to turn my year long internship into a full-time position at McKinstry.I am passionate about sustainability and am fortunate to work for a company that specializes in designing and executing decarbonization projects.Throughout my career, I have been involved in numerous commercial solar installations, lighting and water retrofits, and full and hybrid building electrifications. I have a keen eye for detail and take great pride in ensuring that our customers receive the highest quality installations possible.With my ongoing experience in project management and my growing knowledge of sustainable building retrofits, I am dedicated to making a positive impact on the environment and seeking out new and innovative ways to decrease our carbon footprint and create a more sustainable future.In addition to my technical skills, I am an effective communicator and thrive in collaborative team environments. I am always eager to learn from my colleagues and share my knowledge and experience with others.Outside of work, you can find me hiking in the beautiful mountains of Utah or spending time with friends and family.I am excited to connect with like-minded professionals and discuss opportunities to make a difference in the world through sustainable building and maintenance practices.
