I joined the company in 2016. I started off on the consumer team, after a short time progressed to the business to business lines and ended up settling onto the Social Media Team. I feel like it has really improved my customer service and my ability to deal with unusual, difficult or high profile cases.During my time here I have learned how to deal with many different questions, queries and complaints from both customers and consumers. I am able to build a rapport with customers and make them feel at ease when speaking with a DPD representative. I can also remain calm and professional during difficult situations or conversations and I can deal with stress and pressure very well. On both calls, emails and social media cases I am able to reassure customers and consumers that their issues will be dealt with and restore their faith in the company. I have also regularly been asked to floor-walk, as I am able to share my knowledge and help other advisers with difficult cases whilst remaining approachable and friendly.

As part of my role I needed to ensure that my team were hitting targets and that their quality of work remained high. This involved coaching sessions, 1-2-1's and feedback sessions, to ensure each advisor knew where they stood and to provide the support they needed.  With different personalities within the team I have learnt to adapt my approach in different styles. This has helped me build a strong relationship with the team which still remains now.
