I retired from the PwC partnership in 2020, having helped to run the largest tax advisory practice in the UK as part of the executive leadership team. I'm experienced in developing and implementing complex business strategies, often in challenging circumstances, with a deep expertise in analysing the commercial performance and potential of large international businesses across a wide range of sectors. In addition to executive leadership and client delivery, I've particularly enjoyed working on people matters, including strategy, policy and remuneration.I am currently Chair of the Audit Committee at AIM listed insolvency funded and litigator Manolete plc.As the trustee of two defined benefit pension funds (both over £1BN), I've been involved in strategic planning, investment strategy, negotiating contribution levels, governance and risk management. More recently I've managed COVID driven challenges including delivering benefits under lockdown and a triennial valuation.I'm now seeking to build on this governance experience, by taking on additional non-executive board level roles.
