District Biologist
Current- Deliver the NWTF's conservation mission to "conserve the wild turkey and preserve our hunting heritage" as the District Biologist covering Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Nebraska
- Manage all aspects of habitat conservation, enhancement and hunter access projects and monitor existing agreements, contracts, and grants
- Assist state (TPWD, ODWC, KDWP, and NGPC) and federal agencies (USFS, USFWS, and NRCS) wild turkey management efforts and Hunter R3 efforts through management planning and assistance, program delivery, and habitat.
- Work with TX, OK, KS and NE NWTF Board of Directors and wild turkey technical representatives to seek out or develop habitat and shooting sports projects to be funded through the NWTF Super Fund
- Serve as conservation policy lead in TX, OK, KS and NE and spend time working with state agency and conservation partners to monitor legislation that may impact the NWTF's mission
- Provide technical assistance to landowners and NWTF volunteers pertaining to wildlife and habitat management for wild turkeys
