I worked part time at a popular high street store, as a shop floor sales assistant. My main roles were stock replenishment, moving stock from one location to another on the shop floor, serving customers on electronic tills and handling cash/payment. I was always at hand to help customers with their shopping requests, listening and responding to their needs.

I have worked on multiple occasions at primary schools in Rotherham and Barnsley, as a supply Higher Level Teaching assistant, as part of my employment with Provide Education agency. I have worked in a range of classes, including reception, early years, year 3, year 5 and year 6, all of which I enjoyed immensely. I interacted with the pupils and staff, creating working relationships with all I came into contact with.

I worked at Unite Students as a temporary summer job, in which I worked both as part of an advertising team to draw in prospective clients, and also in the office as first call to students currently living at the accommodation. I thoroughly enjoyed the tasks and challenges set - these varied from finding information about clients on the database, interacting with clients and dealing with inquiries, and also answering emails from students and arranging viewings.

I worked part time at a retail store (B&Q/Kingfisher PLC) as part of a 3 month contract, in which I learnt a range of skills - social, sales and awareness of time keeping and targets. I developed time management and organisational skills, and was able to work well as a team, and independently.

In my second year at university I worked in a bar, as a part time job, for 6 months. Responsibilities and skills included communicating effectively with customers, processing payments, developing awareness of the need to work quickly and effectively, whilst remaining calm and professional.
