    After the closure of Carneghi and Partners, Inc., I joined Watts, Cohn and Partners, Inc. and assisted in the set up and management of their new appraisal firm. As an appraisal researcher, I gather information on a property and create a written report detailing the legal, financial, and physical history of the subject. Appraisal reports are essentially in-depth profiles of real estate, and include sale and lease comparables as well as written adjustments to demonstrate how the appraiser reached the value conclusion. My other responsibilities include writing responses to Requests for Qualifications (RFQ) from potential clients, explaining our services and past experience. I am often the point of contact for our clients, and coordinate with them for everything from billing and invoicing, scheduling, to answering any questions they may have about our appraisal reports. I also function as the office manager and handle all our Quickbooks bookkeeping, supply ordering, and general upkeep.
