I worked on multiple audit projects with multiple teams as a professional associate. Being able to connect different dots learned together and think in a big picture, I independently performed risk assessment for various business processes and controls. With risks of controls rated, I helped set up test steps for the design and operating effectiveness of controls and conduct the testing myself. Additionally, I assisted senior managers in summarizing audit findings and writing audit reports.

In my role as an internal audit analyst with AIG, I work on the commercial team underwriting division. Primarily I worked on the loss sensitive business Fusion end to end audit. I learned about how to perform test of controls in practical work environment as well as how to document the work papers clearly in the internal system that AIG uses. Aside from this audit, I got myself involved in working with different people across different levels by being proactive at work. I took initiatives in challenging myself to do a 10 minutes team presentation of the property insurance product that AIG provides to the customers. The presentation provided my team with a high level overview of property insurance which they will be auditing in the fourth quater of 2016, and helped myself improve public speaking abilities.

As an credit risk analyst intern for structured finance products, I have been learning and assisting senior analysts with building Back-of-the-Envelop Model, Default Model (Logistic Curve), Delinquency Transitions for Asset Backed Securities rating and valuation.On a project basis, I applied Possibility of Defaults and Loss-Given-Default concepts to gauge expected loss of portfolios and assisted in building US Auto ABS waterfall using Cash Flow Model and monitored the deals performance on proprietary engine - Waterfall Editor.
