Research project: Defining association and conformational activation of beta-arrestins at the Glucagon Receptor. - Generation of reagents, namely, beta-arrestin constructs with FlAsH motif insertions in defined domains of the protein sequence. - Purified plasmid DNA and confirmed their sequences using Sanger Sequence Alignment.- Conducted BRET-based experiments using mammalian cells to measure interaction between the beta-arrestin protein and the glucagon receptor in living cells.- Responsible for performing basic lab tasks, including preparing buffers and maintaining essential supplies inventory.- Mentored and guided junior student(s) in getting acquainted with basic research skills.
