Provided accurate and timely process improvement along with research and issue resolution for internal and external customers while maintaining data integrity of the commercial loan system. Developed a new process for processing the partial forgiveness on SBA PPP loans. This resulted in an efficient and consistent procedure for the commercial loan servicing team members to follow. Trained and mentored 5 team members in this new process. The practice was implemented within 2 weeks of when the SBA announced they would start sending banks the forgiveness payments. I was a key team member in the field-to-field data mapping for the commercial loan portfolio for the system conversion from Fiserv-Premier to FIS-IBS. Created custom/ad-hoc Cognos queries to analyze Premier data. Deferred Fee/Cost Analysis – reviewed all new, renewal and modified commercial loans to verify the credit approval was reflected in the loan documents as well as verified the information from the loan documents was accurately entered onto the loan system. Ensured the correct deferred fee/cost was assessed on the loan system for each loan. Developed test plans for commercial loan system (Premier) releases and enhancements. Monitored testing and communicated with IT, Accounting and management on progress and issues. Updated forms and procedures and/or developed new processes for new enhancements/features. Business Continuity – assisted commercial loan servicing team members to work remotely; from finding the necessary equipment to collaboratively coming up with new paperless processes for daily/monthly functions due to the 2020 pandemic.

Subject matter expert for the Deferred Fee/Cost process which was transferred from Accounting to Loan Servicing after the conversion to Premier. Collaborated with the Credit team to automate the Loans to One Borrower report ensuring each borrowing relationship was analyzed and verified it followed OCC’s definition. Completed rewriting the Business Continuity plan for Commercial Loan Servicing using Resilience One. Collaborated in the Commercial Loan Servicing Centralization of four regional locations into one location and design best practices, consistencies, and efficiencies.

Partnered with IT, Loan Servicing and Accounting/Finance to work on the commercial loan system conversion to Fiserv-Premier. Created field to field data mapping from ACBS loan system to Premier loan system as well as loan system to general ledger. Specifically worked on the REIT and non- accrual loan portfolios which involved testing, requesting new specs from the vendor, and creating work arounds so the data converted correctly for system day one. Created procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy of the non-accrual and REIT processes.

Prepared credit approval packages for loan committee approval. Prepared the minutes for the weekly Senior Credit Committee. The minutes documented the approval/denial of each credit approval package that was presented at the Senior Credit Committee meeting. Created various monthly reports for the Credit division.
