I am a senior executive with US as well as international experience working in both developed and developing markets. My background includes operating and legal roles and spans the public, private and not-for-profit sectors. I have worked closely with boards throughout my career as director, advisor and management member. I am Co-Founder and CEO of the Dunollie Fund, with impact investing vehicles focused on climate change, the circular economy and women's rights, among other issue areas. I was until 2018 the President of Encore.org, a national organization building a movement for "encore careers". After stepping down, I worked closely with Encore and The OpEd Project (OEP) on a journalism fellowship, the "Encore Public Voices Fellowship". I then worked with the Yale Program on Climate Communications and OEP on a second fellowship, "Public Voices on the Climate Crisis" as well as with Equality Now, and OEP on a third fellowship focused on basic human rights for women and girls around the world.During 2013, I was a Fellow in the Harvard Advanced Leadership Initiative, a program for accomplished leaders deepening their commitment to public service.From 2007-2012, I was COO of Acumen, an impact investment fund focused on goods and services for low-income customers. Acumen has investments in health, water, energy, agriculture, housing and education businesses and operates across the developing world as well as the US. Prior to Acumen, I had a long career as a corporate lawyer/senior partner including as General Counsel of PricewaterhouseCoopers US (in NYC) and Global Deputy General Counsel (in Paris).I sat on the board of Opiant Pharmaceuticals Inc.until it was recently acquired by Indivior. I served as Interim Chair of Progenics Pharmaceuticals, Inc. until it was successfully merged with Lantheus Holdings in 2020. I am an Advisor to Alopexx, a clinical stage biotechnical company and to Nuvo Assets, a rare metals stockpiler. My volunteer service includes the board of Strong Minds, the Advisory Board of Equality Now, the Advisory Board of the Harvard Advanced Leadership Coalition and the Global Leadership Group of the World Resources Institute. I was a longstanding board member of Global Citizen Year (a US education non-profit). My experience includes: scaling global organizations; “shared value” and ESG; stategic planning: compensation, talent and succession; governance; M&A and change management; regulatory, General Counsel experience, budgeting, finance and risk management.
