Secured additional $6M above program line for prevention of sexual assault. Hired 3 prevention experts and built prevention capacity for DoD SAPR program executive leaders and key stakeholders. Delivered Prevention Plan of Action (released April 2019) and capability maturity tool to measure progress, drove negotiations for updated policy for Defense Sexual Assault Advocate Certification Program (released Feb 2020) reconciling conflicts in policy, released CATCH the serial offender program (Aug 2019) and championed development for first-ever DoD Policy on Integrated Primary Prevention of Self-Directed Harm and Prohibited Abuse or Harm (released Sep 2020). Led DoD's Prevention Collaboration Forum (2019-2020) and obtained formal charter (Feb 2020) for the Department’s cross-cutting efforts to prevent sexual assault and other behaviors that impact Service members and their families.

The Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) Strategic Studies Group (SSG) generates revolutionary naval warfare concepts, which for over a century have been the key to U.S. naval supremacy. Revolutionary implies that the concepts would upset the existing order and such are non-consensual within the Navy’s organization. This means the SSG focuses its efforts on warfighting concepts that appear to have great potential, but Navy organizations are currently not pursuing. In conducting this mission, the SSG is at the leading edge of the Conceptualization Phase of the Process for Naval Warfare Innovation. As a Senior Fellow for CNO SSG 34, explored innovations and made recommendations for the Navy Talent Management out to 2030, including new concepts for recruiting, developing, and retaining Sailors.

Oversee the Navy Training Products and Services contracts for all Naval Education and Training Command (NETC) Learning Centers (LCs) and Training Support Centers (TSCs) valued at $3.16B. Provide effective and independent appraisal capability to review program performance in relation to approved plans and objectives. Perform requirements analysis, programming, and assessment functions; infrastructure planning; development and delivery of technology innovations and solutions; coordination, collaboration, and integration; and problem solving and issue resolution. Validate requirements and exercise responsibility for planning, forecasting, and programming of funds throughout the FYDP, execution of the Command’s $768.5M annual budget through closeout of the five-year budget life cycle.
