As Development and Project Manager, I am responsible for the AOA's individual giving development efforts and lead the AOA's development staff team. I work closely with the Development Committee comprised of senior orthopaedic surgeon leadership. In June 2023, we not only met the $8M goal for AOA's Campaign for Tomorrow but exceeded that financial goal with a result of $10M. AOA's mission is to engage the orthopaedic community to develop leaders, strategies, and resources to guide the future of musculoskeletal care. The AOA equips orthopaedic surgeons with knowledge and skills necessary to lead effectively in the ever-changing landscape of the health care environment. My primary responsibility is to solicit donations to support AOA's signature programs including Leadership Education, the Council of Orthopaedic Residency Directors (CORD) & Academic Activities, Emerging Leaders and Resident Leadership, Traveling Fellowships, and Own the Bone.

Greater Chicago Area

At the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA), I collaborated with the Educational Planning Committee and ENA President to determine the educational offerings, and shape the new hands-on, engaging formats offered for advanced practice nurses at the Annual Conference. I also organized the successful inaugural Regional Symposium held April 2018 in Las Vegas exceeding registration expectations.At the Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA), I partnered with the program directors on creating and finalizing the course content for the Practice Management course. I was responsible for a file audit to ensure compliance with the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME). I also handled finalizing the arrangements for the Annual Meeting Content on Demand product.

Coached, mentored, and led team to ensure quality implementation of 25 annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs. Collaborated with orthopaedic industry, specialty societies, and committees to plan, organize, manage and analyze results of didactic and surgical skills educational programs. Prepared and managed a $3,000,000 budget. Traveled to programs held in the US as onsite AAOS representative. Worked with esteemed orthopaedic surgeons to design CME courses with a focus on improving orthopaedic patient care.

Coordinated educational programs focusing on all aspects of meeting planning, marketing, evaluation and other elements in compliance with ACCME guidelines. Responsible for all logistical meeting planning for courses including AV, hotel, food and beverage, sleeping rooms, and table top exhibits. Worked with orthopaedic industry to present surgical skills courses in hotels and at the Orthopaedic Learning Center. Arranged to have cadaveric material and orthopaedic equipment and instrumentation available. Traveled to various US destinations to oversee presentation courses.
