For more than two decades I spent my life in a television newsroom, working both in front of the camera and in news management. Today, I use the skills I learned during my tenure in news to work in strategic communications and marketing. It really is the best of both worlds. I still get to experience very diverse days - you never know what might land on your plate - and my communication strength gets used every day.
