I was working with Idea Cellular client as SME Oracle DBA, Currently handling more than 400+ Oracle databases. As a database owner , we need to impact analysis for any changes which need to be done at application end and database end as per application team requirements. To resolve slow performing queries. Troubleshooting for RAC DB related issue , Oracle Data Gaurd related issue. Performed 8TB database restoration because of storage issue. Storage Migration from old storage to new Storage for Oracle 10g RAC and Oracle 11g RAC and non-RAC database. Configured AQ-MQ messgaing gateway etc.

In NSETECH, I was working as consultant in Manager Grade. There I was responsible for Oracle dba acivities, Oracle application server activities, SAN storage functional activities like allocation of storage, SAN to SAN replication from Primary DC to Near DR DC and Primary DC to Far DR DC. In Nsetech , I have planned to migrated Oracle 10g RAC database from old storage to new storage and executed and implemented also. Here also we as oracle dba , we need to tune slow performing query etc.

· Migration Oracle 9.2.0.5 RAC Database (320 GB) from IBM P650 AIX 5.2 to IBM P570 AIX 5.3 server using Export Import Utility on Oracle 9.2.0.5 · Migration of Oracle 8.1.7 database (130 GB) from Compaq Alpha ES40 on Tru64 UNIX V5.1 to IBM P570 AIX 5.3 server using Export Import utility on Oracle 9.2.0.5 . · Migration Oracle 9.2.0.5 RAC Database (400 GB) from IBM P650 AIX 5.2 to IBM P570 AIX 5.3 server using Export Import utility.· Migration of Non -RAC Oracle 8.1.7 database ( size 120 GB) from Compaq Alpha ES40 on Tru64 UNIX to two node RAC Oracle 9.2.0.5 database using Export Import utility on Oracle 9.2.0.5· Migration of Non-RAC Oracle 9.2.0.5 database (60 GB) from IBM Server on AIX 4.3.3 to two node RAC Oracle 9.2.0.5 database on IBM P570 AIX 5.3 using Export Import utility on Oracle 9.2.0.5

· D2K Conversion of Safe Custody Audit Module and Inwarding ModuleThis projects deals with conversion of all the Forms 3.0 programs to Forms 5.0.This is done Using forms compiler. After this the screen is designed as per standard colour requirements. The external calls to Pro*c's and shells were first done using socket programming. Now most Of the Pro*c's are converted to packages and Reports upgraded to Reports 3.0 using reports Designer. After this testing is done.Then the Programs are implemented. Some new options were Included in particular forms as per user Requirements.· Y2K Conversion of Safe Custody Audit Module and Data Transfer ModuleThe modules in SHCIL are developed in FORMS 3.This is not Y2K compliant. So to make it Y2K Compliant a shell script was used to include a Trigger in the form which fires whenever a date field is manipulated and converts the date field to DD-MON-RR format. All the fields whose value is Concatenated with two digit year part were Modified to be concatenated with four digit Year. All the procedures in the form and reports were made Y2K compliant. After all the changes were made the forms were Tested for Y2K compliance in different server By advancing the year to 2000. After this the tested programs were implemented. The above procedure was followed for the programs in branches also.· Safe Custody Inwarding Module (Rectification Sub Module) The certificate received from the company after transfer in the name of buyer are scrutinised and sent back to the company in case of any objections pertaining to data errors on the certificate.This module first scans all those certificates which are supposed to go back to the company. The form allows for scanning each certificate while checking its existence in lodgements tables. All other checks like benami, stolen, already demat are undertaken and the certificate are pouched to be sent to rectification.
