My passion is transforming access to health care. I help drive operations for our hospice & palliative business at WellSky, a health technology, analytics, and services company focused on empowering providers to deliver patient-centered, data-driven, and highly coordinated care. I graduated with an MBA from the McCombs School of Business, University of Texas at Austin (2021), focused on health care strategy around designing and implementing value-based care solutions. During my MBA, I interned at Blue Shield of California (BSC) within Altais, a startup subsidiary aiming to transform the physician experience through technology platform tools. I also collaborated with a team of Texas McCombs Health Innovation Fellows to produce a comprehensive COVID-19 reopening strategic roadmap for the Austin Healthcare Council. Finally, I was part of an incredible team representing Texas McCombs that competed and won at the 2020 Kellogg Biotech and Healthcare national MBA case competition. Prior to my MBA, I spent seven years as a health policy consultant and lobbyist in Washington, DC, formulating strategies for health industry stakeholders to navigate Affordable Care Act implementation and advocating for policy changes to improve health care affordability and price transparency.While working in DC, I served as Chair of the Society of Health Policy Young Professionals, a 200+ member volunteer-based nonprofit that empowers DC’s next generation of health policy leaders through providing opportunities for networking, career development, and policy education.I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (2012) with a Bachelor of Arts in political science and philosophy and a minor in public policy.
