* Reports to QA QC Manager* Review PQR, WQT* Preparation of WPS & PQR, and welder qualification As per Conversant codes like ASME SEC lX ,API 1104, AWS D1.1 for regular welding & Hot Tapping and Issuance of Job Clearance Card (JCC)* WPS Preparation and getting client approval * Resolve site quality issues * Maintain NCR , LBE log and seek immediate reply by investigating root cause, corrective action for the violations .* Raise internal NCR if there is any non compliance with standards and requirements.* Accountable for inspection and reporting on construction activities in conformance with project drawings, specifications, schedules, procedures, quality requirements in accordance with company procedures & processes, standards and industry best practice.* Maintain calibration records * Supervise and coordinate with quality control inspectors for the inspection activities and resolving site quality issues.* Preparation of weekly progress, monthly quality management reports, Dashboards etc.* Preparation of PQI* Maintaining Database for weekly welding rejection rate for the project and welders.* Make sure the site activities are being carried out as per company’s standards and requirements.* Review hydrotest packages* Conduct weekly meetings with client regarding quality concerns.* Review Hydrotest packages, Tie in packages, Hot-Tap packages and conduct inspection .* Review MTC and other quality documents.* Calculation of project repair rate and welder rejection rate

Duties include:• Review of inspection test plan (ITP) for acceptability and identification of hold,witness, surveillance,review ponts for inspection activities.• Perform and document inspection as per the identified Hold/ Witness/Review /Surveillance points.• Review of different quality control documents like MTC,hydro test package,weld summery, NDE summery etc.• Conduct welder qualification test.• Ensure all activities are carried out in line with QA QC procedures.• Qualifying welding procedure and preparing WPS and PQR for fabrication as per section lX, AWS D1.1 etc. • Coordinating with client and company inspectors for all inspection activities .• Incoming material inspection and reviewing of mill test certificate.• Check the compliancy of activities and initiate non conformance report (NCR) if necessary .
