Lifestyle Vertical is one of the most strategic verticals which includes a lot of General Merchandise (GM) Categories namely Home & Living, Books & Stationery, Sports, Motors and Toys. My responsibilities include management of the entire P&L of the Vertical, analyzing Demand and Supply Gaps and developing long term organic growth strategies. My team includes Category Managers, Key Account Managers, Head of Brands & Key Accounts, Campaign Manager and Growth Manager

Leading the team of all the Key Account Managers within the Lifestyle Team while at the same time serving as the acting Category Director for Lifestyle. During this role, I was responsible for the formulation and implementation of the new Key Account Management role by dividing all sellers/brands in to different tiers.

Responsible for taking the lead of underdeveloped categories within the Lifestyle Vertical and growing them exponentially. At the start, I was responsible for Books & Stationery L1, which grew by 10X during the first year of my charge. The focus during this time period was to take these underdeveloped categories and build a healthy supply of assortment which allowed an organic acquisition of buyers. Later on, I was given charge of additional categories which include: - Home & Living (2019 Onwards)- Toys & Games (2020 Onwards)During this role, I had a team of 5 Key Account Managers Directly reporting to me who were able to contribute 40% of the overall business.

Responsible for building a strong assortment supply by acquiring industry whole sellers, importers and official brands. At the time, the category was in its infancy, which required extensive market research and negotiation to onboard and manage the vendors.

Managed a vendor portfolio from different categories including Mobiles, Appliances, Fashion, Home & Living, Sports and Motors

Responsible for the development of tailor made e-commerce solutions for clients such as Khaadi, Alkaram, EGO and Generations. Since e-commerce was in its infancy in Pakistan at that time, I was serving as the connect between the company and the clients upon issues related to platform management, catalogue management, back end development, operations and customer support. During this time, I was also responsible for the management of the Customer Services and lead a team of 10 CS Agents

Significant Achievements: - Running an online campaign to generate net sales of PRK 10.2 million during the Summer Sale in June 2013- Managing the SHEEP® website, www.houseofsheep.com, ensuring that all the products are displayed properly, and the sold out products are removed immediately- Maintaining a ratio of dollar spent versus number of website sales by 10:2, increasing the overall website sales by over 50%- Making suggestions and recommendations to the Marketing Manager to ensure that the maximum audience is reached through the ad
