I lead teams that work on innovative technologies and work with customers and engineering/product teams on long term product strategies. In the past we have launched products like Google Private Service Connect, VPC Peering, and Internal Global Load Balancing.I design and lead large scale distributed systems. I have extensive experience in research, development and deployment of software-defined networks at datacenter and planetary scales. Our project, Andromeda (http://goo.gl/yB7gQ0), serves as the networking substrate for Google Cloud Platform (GCP).I'm passionate about building teams, developing careers, and mentoring engineers in an inclusive environment.Previously, I earned my PhD under Professor Michael Bedford Taylor at the Computer Science and Engineering Department of University of California, San Diego, where I specialized in computer systems and architecture.
