As an architectural intern, I worked on the following things: 1. Construction Documents· Prepared Google SketchUp models adjusted construction documents on AutoCAD and conducted research on different architectural and furniture products.2. CAD· Assisted Principal Architect with existing conditions documentation and transferred as-built information into CAD for schematic design purposes.· Conducted field measurements and produced CAD drawings for veterinary clinic renovations.· Produced two-dimensional architectural drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software AutoCAD to comply with zoning and building codes and construction budgets.· Honed skills in CAD, design, and building by aiding in detail, construction, and design drawings.3. Schematic Design· Produced schematic designs through drawings and renderings in preparation for client/contractor meetings as initial marketing tools to attain potential clients.4. 3D modeling Developed SketchUp Models and produced 2D Construction Drawings.Utilized software to coordinate project development.5. Photoshop· Designed presentation boards, elaborating materials, and graphics for print and presentation in Photoshop and InDesign.6. Site Visits and Client meetings· Participated in client meetings, photographed built projects for publications, and redesigned projects.· Design development for residential construction from initial client meeting to final construction drawing completion. Developed marketing related renderings and standards that will be used for future client meetings and project proposal meetings.

Assisted and contributed to the team by creating presentations, 2d, and 3d drafting& research work.I was assigned a mentor and tasked with following his orders and was encouraged to ask questions and get a deeper understanding of what it will be like to work in the design industry on day to day basis.It was a perfect training opportunity to explore different options in Design and construction industry.
