Major job includes performing standard simulator support activities on Level 'D' A320 & B737 flight simulators and IPTs ( such as: installation, operation, inspection, periodic maintenance (align & adjust), of simulator components and systems.• Monitoring Simulators performance and condition to ensure that continued compliance with governmental regulations such as DGCA, EASA, is met by observing maintenance logs, pre-flight logs, and by assisting with and conducting Simulator performance evaluations as necessary. • Assisted technical manager in complete initial qualification and re-evaluation process of FFS devices.• Participation in Quality Control inspections.• Removal installation of JVC VS2100 LCOS Projectors including complete mechanical and software tuning with visual calibration in Rockwell Collins EP8000 visual system.• Performing tuning and adjustment in MOOG CL and Motion System.• Running QTGs and evaluate results.• Preparation of Maintenance Manuals in accordance to the manufacturer and other Regulatory documentation. Development of Maintenance Program.• Performing customer configuration changes to Simulators evaluate and confirm proper post change operation. This includes hardware, software, avionics database change-outs.• Lead the team in resolving many AOG situations to ensure maximum simulator availability for customer.• Working on Real Time Software, Linux and Windows Server 2003.• Systems, servers back up and restore, monitoring systems logs, time synchronization.• Monitoring Simulator Network, troubleshoot network problems within it's LAN as well as outside wireless network. • Handling documentation in-charge responsibilities for engineering department.• Working closely with Logistics in-charge for proper ordering of spares as required and smooth import-export of FSTD parts.
