As a proud University of Florida student, I had the opportunity to be part of Dr. Juan Gilbert's lab as an undergraduate student. Gaining experience with scraping data, lemmatization, and sentiment analysis. Through this research experience it furthered my excitement towards data analytics and machine learning models. I have been a leader in numerous organizations on and off campus. I served as the president of the Theta Sigma Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. in which our chapter was named chapter of the year in the one of the largest districts in the Southern Region. I was also recognized by the University of Florida as Chapter President of the year. I had the opportunity to intern with Microsoft for two summers in a row. Gaining skills in web development, database management systems, and React. I also learned about the product life cycle and gained skills for working in a group. During my second summer I learned internal systems at Microsoft, more Git operations, telemetry, and Kusto queries. In my free time, I am passionate about getting out in my community and having educational outreach programs for the youth. I am a mentor for a group of young males in Alachua county at Mirror Image Leadership Academy.
