Packaging Graphics Specialist
CurrentI currently provide support for the packaging graphics department at Rich Products Corporation WHQ. I support a team of nine, helping to manage overflow work and expand the groups capacity in ways such as print design, proof revision, vendor point of contact, and project management. A large portion of my time here is also split between database maintenance, software testing/system development and user training. As my responsibilities have changed over time I have become the resident expert in BarTender -label design software- and developing the system to release labels to our our print-and-apply case labelers. I have also branched out my expertise into printing hardware, troubleshooting, and process documentation - not to mention providing 24/7 support in the event of malfunction, and onsite support for implementation. What is easily defined as a catch-all for miscellaneous tasks, my role has morphed into understanding different areas (a little procurement, a little logistics, a little QA/QA, etc) and has given me broad-based expertise in production systems/settings.
