-Manage a pilot surgical research program at North York General Hospital-Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team with surgeons, clinical nurse educators, clinical team managers to facilitate the implementation of the program-Built strong, lasting, and strategic relationships with stakeholders and patients-Conduct literature reviews, create slide decks, infographics, research materials for patients and clinical staff-Work with internal and external stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and establish corrective & preventative action plans-Train surgeons and nurses on their delegated tasks, and monitor the roll-out of study-related tasks-Assisted with the recruitment of 60+ COVID-19 patients onto pan-Canadian trials (CONCOR & CATCO) within 5 months, which helped inform the hospital's standard of care practices

Founded a podcast series that aims to empower young scientists from the University of Toronto by highlighting their work, and to promote science literacy within the Toronto community. Episodes feature special guests like Canada's Chief Science Advisor Dr. Mona Nemer, and world-renowned developmental biologist, Dr. Janet Rossant.

Developed workshops, lectures, and infographics to introduce the field of global health to high school students all over the Greater Toronto Area, and organized a conference titled "Integrated Healthcare" which attracted 100+ attendees and was nominated for "Program of the Year" at the University of Toronto.

Tutored English and math to a classroom of students aged 4-14, to improve their literacy and math skills at school

Initiated a new program and led a team of volunteers at The Scarborough Hospital to boost morale in the geriatrics inpatient unit. Currently, this program has been successfully expanded to two other hospitals in Scarborough using the format that I helped to develop.

Started a women's empowerment group on campus to honor the life of Jyoti Singh Pandey and the strength of Malala Yousafzai. We provided a free self defense workshop to UofT students, and become 1 of 6 finalists to make it to the 2014 Students for International Development conference where we received feedback from key innovators.

- Over two summers, worked with 10+ families and their children. Supported children in camp and community settings- Reported individual development plans for each child, and developed materials to reinforce skills that were learned during my time working with them
