As an attorney in Conservation Law Foundation's Clean Energy and Climate Change program, I am working to transition Vermont's economy to one run on clean-renewable energy, while ensuring that no Vermonter is left behind.

I provided nonpartisan legislative legal services—including drafting and testifying on bills and amendments and conducting legal and policy research and analysis—to Representatives and Senators and standing committees of the Vermont General Assembly. In that capacity I was the sole attorney staffed to bills involving transportation—including the annual Transportation Bill, which amends andadopts the State’s transportation program; the annual Miscellaneous Motor Vehicles Bill; and other bills related to vehicles (including plug-in electric vehicles, bicycles, electric bicycles, and motor assisted vehicles such as electric scooters), railroads, airports and aviation, greenhouse gas emissions from the transportation sector, pedestrian safety, micromobility, public/microtransit, transportation network companies, and Vermont’s Motor Vehicle Manufacturers, Distributors, and Dealers Franchising Practices Act—and the Legislative Committee on Administrative Rules (administrative rulemaking).

Assisted clients in annual preparation of affirmative action plans and Office of Federal Contract Compliance audit defense; Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and New York State Division of Human Rights investigations; and labor arbitration defense. Co-authored "Putting Your Employment Test to the Test" (Employment Law 360, March 6, 2013).

Researched the state of domestic partner benefits (unemployment and tax), and legislative procedures in Anchorage and Alaska for litigation, ballot initiative and ordinances. Prepared memorandums, portions of which were given to the ACLU of Alaska litigation committee and board for litigation approval. Performed legal research on a variety of matters.

Assisted attorneys in representation of client in connection with government investigation of municipal bond industry and a Manhattan Assistant District Attorney in connection with a civil suit. Performed legal research on a variety of matters.
