As a former undergraduate student at Miami University, I was dedicated and hardworking, committed to excelling in my studies and in any positions or roles that I took. This same drive and passion is still ever-present after graduation. Though my past studies and interests mainly revolve around biology and medicine, I am constantly expanding my interests and actively seeking out opportunities to learn in my current position. I have a keen interest in research, with a history as a research assistant in the SCOUT lab, a clinical psychology laboratory at Miami University. Now, I am continuing my involvement with research as a Clinical Research Coordinator at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. I have a passion for volunteering both inside and outside of the hospital setting. As the previous service committee chair for my professional medical fraternity, Phi Delta Epsilon, I organized and took part in various local and long-distance service projects/events and I continued to take part in such events as a normal member. In addition, I have had a great deal of hospital exposure in the form of Emergency Department volunteering and physician shadowing.
