Geologist working in the gold industry, passionate about production geology and mentoring other geologists. With my mentorship focusing on working safely and underground grade control. Extensive experience with in and near mine exploration, whilst having worked with a range of drilling contractors. Through my studies at Macquarie University I gained a double major in Geophysics and Environmental Geology. Field work was a dominant feature of my study at Macquarie university and it has given me not only valuable skills, but confidence; in geological mapping, identification of different structural systems, palaeoenvironments, marine depositional environments, plotting and interpretation of various geophysical datasets. My objective is to continue working in the geological science field and applying my skills to hard rock mining whilst sharing and elevating those around me. I am always trying to further expand my experience and knowledge in positive and challenging team oriented environments.
