Responsibilities• Obtain Local, State, and Federal permits for over 2 gigawatts of utility-scale solar projects in development located in in NY, VA, UT, LA, PA• Permit compliance during construction and operations of a 2-gigawatt project portfolio• Lead permitting and environmental responsibilities in support of project funding• Lead permitting and environmental due diligence for project M&A• Coordinate with strategic development teams and project developers to locate prospective project sites and identify potential environmental risks prior to land acquisition• Manage environmental due diligence activities including biological surveys, WOTUS delineations, cultural surveys, and Environmental Site Assessments including remediation and restoration activities.• Identify land-based secondary revenue streams for developed projects including agricultural colocation, wetland mitigation banking, nutrient banking, and conservation easements.Notable Accomplishments• Permitted the largest solar facility in the Eastern United States (500 megawatts) in Spotsylvania, VA• Oversaw the preparation and submittal of the first-ever renewable energy project application accepted under New York State Executive Law Section 94-c• Led permitting and environmental support in acquiring $600M+ project funding for the aforementioned Spotsylvania project• Led permitting and environmental due diligence during the acquisition of a $10M, 750-megawatt portfolio in New York from National Grid Renewables

Responsibilities• Managed clients’ material sampling program needs, including:- Developing material sampling protocols and methodologies- Managing material sampling audits and coordination between the clients’ engineers, regulatory personnel, and laboratory personnel- Document control for sample reports, analyses, and agency submittals- Project management and document review o NEPA EIS chapters - SEQR EIS chapters - Clients’ environmental compliance and monitoring requirements including, SWPPP inspections, TMDL monitoring, wildlife monitoring reports, and MOC reporting requirementsNotable Accomplishments• Created a bespoke material sampling protocol to manage and track a client’s unique NYSDEC material sampling requirements per their Modified Order on Consent (MOC)

Responsibilities• Project compliance with NYSDEC Engineering Work Plan (EWP) and Modified Order on Consent (MOC) for the largest brownfield remediation and development site in New York City (676 acres). Specific duties included:- Managing the Community Air Monitoring Program- SPDES and SWPPP compliance- Attending meetings with the NYSDEC regarding remediation and development progress• Managed the Materials Management Program (MMP) and sampling program for all imported material to the 676-acre project site for construction activities. Specific duties included:- Developing material sampling protocols and approval process with NYSDEC and third parties- Coordinating material sampling between field engineers, NYSDEC representatives, and laboratory personnel- Maintaining sampling event records and sampler tracker documentation• Owner’s review for SEQR EIS Chapters• Conducted a novel Noise and Light wildlife impact survey required for night-time operations approval from NYSDECNotable Accomplishments• When a new species of leopard frog was discovered on the project site, NYSDEC wanted to shut down the entire remediation effort to preserve potential habitat. I coordinated field surveys with NYSDEC and Rutgers scientists to develop a novel wildlife management plan for preservation of critical habitat areas and mitigation practices while allowing the brownfield remediation activities to continue.
