Hi I’m Anthony and I’ve always had a strong connection within the Health & Fitness industry.I’ve been involved in the industry from a very early age. When I was 18 years old I undertook a soccer scholarship in the United States where I also studied Sport & Business. I spent two years in the States before returning to the UK where I completed my degree in Manchester at Manchester Metropolitan University whilst continuing playing soccer at a semi professional level in the North West area for a number of teams.During my time in the United States I took an interest in American Football. Shortly after my degree I changed sports and began playing American Football for an amateur team called Manchester Titans. After a successful first season I was scouted to play professionally in Germany for the Dresden Monarchs. Upon my return to the UK I decided to experiment further with other disciplines due to my love of all sports, whilst also challenging my ability to learn new skills within different conditions and surroundings. This also allowed me to expand my physical and mental understanding of what is required within different sports.The list includes semi-pro Rugby League & Rugby Union, the latter I spent a year playing in Australia. I’ve also spent time completing in numerous disciplines within Athletics. The most recent was representing Jamaica in the Rugby Sevens. I’ve represented Jamaica on a number of occasions but the most notable competition was the Commonwealth Games 2018 in Gold Coast, Australia.My experiences through playing numerous sports at a high level has bulked the knowledge I already gained through my sport and business joint honours degree as well as my Level 3 personal training course. My experiences through both practical and theory, as well as 10 years experience as a personal trainer, has helped me achieve great results for hundreds of clients over the years.Formula is the latest piece of the jigsaw in my fitness journey. My aim is to promote the importance of wellness within the workspace to improve both individual and company wellness both mentally and physically which ultimately leads to a more successful workplace.
