First train (KM-250A) of 263MMscfd Cryogenic process plant for Pearl Petroleum Company in Khor Mor, Kurdistan. Construction HSSE-SP activities at site and surrounding area including civil, structural, mechanical, above and underground piping, electrical, instrumentation and control systems, F&G system, telecom and CCTV systems and installation works. My term on the project consisted of pre-mobilization and initial mobilization and development of a World Class Behavioral Based Safety Culture for the project and establish a Social Performance Team and Process.

PDO- Tayseer EDF Project A DBOOM (Design-Build-Own-Operate-Maintain) (EDF (Early Development Facility) project located in Oman (Remote) involving the engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and 10 year operation and maintenance of a complete, stand-alone, gas processing and compression station capable of processing high sour gas for commercial use.

An EPC project located in the United Arab Emirates involving the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of a complete, stand-alone, gas processing plant capable of processing sour gas from offshore to a quality standard suitable for safe commercial sales. At present the project is finalizing the Commissioning Phase with a project to date TRIR of 0.00 Support the Project Management’s accountability for a healthy, safe and environmentally sound workplace by contributing the following:  Provide applicable HSE processes and procedures to management for implementation and execution  Provide guidance and support to facilitate management incorporation and integration of provisions of the Exterran Global HSE Standards into the processes and procedures developed and implemented at the functional level  Coach and mentor management to improve HSE culture, knowledge and execution  Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all incidents and ensure completion of incident investigations Provide timely, accurate, cost effective HSE review, interpretation and guidance  Analyze performance results, trends and emerging issues to assist Management in developing business plans, target areas and corrective actions Assess and measure execution and HSE process effectiveness Facilitate and identify potential improvement of focus areas and convey to Management  Share lessons learned, challenges, concerns, innovative practices and solutions with Exterran HSE peers Reports to the Global Director HSE Integrated Projects, Director Eastern Hemisphere Integrated Projects and Client on day to day activities as applicable.

A multi-billion dollar project involving a multi-national workforce, multiple well pad construction, a Three Train Compressor Gas Conditioning Facility (6.9 million tons per year); along with the life support facilities for 3,500 workers. Located in the remote jungles of Papua New Guinea the project team embraced the core values of HSE achieving milestones such as a 2013 TRIR of .09, 21 Million man-hours without an LTI, 2014 EXXONs PNG-LNG Executives HSSE Sustained Performance & Leadership Award, 2013 Exxon’s PNG-LNG annual Executives HSSE Excellence Award and 135 consecutive days completely injury free project wide with “First Gas” accomplished 2 weeks ahead of project schedule. The reporting of over 3.8 million behaviors through the I-Care Program, 2.1 million conditions in the Leading Indicator Program; along with 550 near misses reported and investigated contributed significantly to the projects overall world class success.

3 Billion USD, 5 year project on the 3 Islands that make up the Union of Comoros in the Indian Ocean. Project included Harbour works, 3 Sea Ferry Terminals, 3 Airfield projects, Schools, Medical Facilities, Roads etc. The use of Behaviour Based Safety concepts and positively integrating Safety professionals into the advance project team allowed the multi-national workforce to learn and implement the Western HSE standards and contract requirements successfully in minimal time. A zero LTI rate and .13 TRIR were accomplished. (The project was suddenly and unexpectedly placed into a “Hold Status” by the Comorian Government and has never restarted.)

In addition to the responsibilities of Countery HSE Director my role was expanded to include the responsibilities of Deputy Country Program Director. This involved the mentoring, coaching, staff development, organization and problem solving involving both the companies New Construction and Labour & Services business units throughout the Iraq Area of Operations. A diverse project ranging from logistics support, various military and civilian construction projects, transportation/convoy operations, manpower and food service as examples.

Developed and managed the company HSSE Management Systems in Iraq involving over 13 locations and 7000 employees. A war zone environment where the employee base consisted of 18 nationalities and their associated languages, cultures and mentalities working to support the coalition forces associated with Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Responsibilities included the development and team building efforts related to the 110 HSE and Fire Emergency personnel assigned to the Iraq Southern Region. Focus was on developing and ensuring a positive work environment that was conducive to self-motivation, team growth, professionalism and a clear and professional team direction. Responsible for developing a sustainable one team concept with Senior Project Management, Area Leads, Site Managers and Frontline Performers which resulted in an immediate and significant improvement in HSE statistical performance.
